Abstract
It is not possible to affirm that only the author is behind a fictional text. Usually, a lot of agents and determining factors have an important influence in the literary product. This work focuses on the knowing of that union of factors and wishes that could configure the literary identity. Specifically, the particularities of the author, publisher and the person to whom is dedicated the book are analyzed as significant elements in the Diálogo de la alegría del alma contra el temor de la muerte (Cuenca, 1612)
