Among the purposes of the research group "Francisco de Quevedo" of the University of Santiago de Compostela is the elaboration of successive concordances of the work of the great writer until finally covering the entirety of his extensive production. For the moment they have a small achievement, the concordance of Historia de la vida del Buscón llamado don Pablos, ejemplo de vagamundos y espejo de tacaños, that is, what they consider to be the last version of the famous story, according to the so-called manuscript B. The elaboration of three other concordances of the Buscón is underway, that is, of the manuscript testimonies S and C, together with the first edition, Z. However, they have temporarily postponed this project in order to give way to another one that they consider a priority: the concordance of the complete poetry, based on the edition by Alfonso Rey and María José Alonso Veloso (Barcelona, editorial Castalia, 2021).

Within the page https://www.usc.gal/gl/investigar-na-usc/grupos/quevedo (previously www.usc.es/quevedo) there is a freely accessible window, "Visualizador de concordancias", where you can already work with that of the Buscón and, shortly, with that of Quevedo's complete poetry. The concordance, easy to use, contains two main sections, called, respectively, Alphabetic and Frequency. The Alphabetical section orders the words by their initial letter indicating their number of occurrences. When marking a word, the context in which it appears is provided. The Frequency section offers the same data from another perspective, sorting the words according to their frequency, in an increasing order.
